Comments from Our Guests

We find many wonderful and amusing stories written in our guest books. Some people have so much fun here that unfortunately their stories are unprintable! There are so many more that we would have loved to include. Hope you enjoy these comments from some of our fantastic guests!

Our children have made a total of 6 month long canoe trips in the Canadian wilderness - 4 on the Bloodvein and 2 to Hudson Bay on the Caribou and the Seal. We got to drive the bus up for the canoers this time- my first time north of Thunder Bay. It is a long flat drive - but the destination is lovely! I felt pampered as the rains came in the night, laying in the comfortable, warm bed in this new cabin, knowing the kids were on the trail! The real danger in me being here is that I know it will keep calling me back! God bless all who journey here!

This has been a weekend to behold - a wonderful wedding, visiting with friends, being on the water, hearing the tiny ripples of water hitting so gently on the rocks, pelicans gliding across the sky, and I could go on. Now I must leaveÉ "Thank God" for such an event in my hectic lifestyle!

A wonderful and hospitable place to stay during a long-range trainer in our float-equipped Twin Otter. Beautiful facilities and an outstanding staff took all the sting out of a long day.

We had a wonderful stay - enjoyed the skidoo trails, hot tub felt great after hiking and riding. The weather was perfect (-5 to -10). The sunset as beautiful as Mexico's.

The trails were awesome. The lake was beautiful. Fantastic toboggan hill!! We truly enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. Can hardly wait till we come back again. Moose Creek Cabin is #1 with us.

We sure enjoyed the beauty of nature - very easy to relax and forget about the usual rat race! The accommodations were most adequate - great hot tub, cozy fireplace. A wonderful family getaway!

The drive up was breathtaking. The pines mixed with the autumn colors, spectacular! Had a wonderful visit. Cabins are very clean and kept up! Just came up for a drive and ended up spending the night, what a way to end the day! We'll be back in January for snowmobiling and skiing. Can't wait!

3rd anniversary spent here. Upgraded to this cabin, and then there was a mechanical problem with the hot tub! Arg! They FLEW IN a part, and fixed the tub! Impressed at how they bent over backwards. They even gave us a bottle of champagne. Cabin is gorgeous. Late August is an awesome time to be here, very few bugs and nice weather. Very well equipped, better than any other cabin we've been at. Restaurant food was impressive, loved the chairs and tables in there. Hard to believe this exists way out here. Will have to try the fishing camps soon.

Biscuit Harbour Resort deserves every success, which it earns with totally friendly and informing staff, every amenity and these incredible surroundings. Our staff had a true Spring Break, a chance to really relax and spend time together. Thank you so very much for extending this welcome to us and we will all go home with fine memories.

We left behind 21 days of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures. Traveled over half of the USA and north into Canada to get here. Rolled the odometer 100,000 miles. Was it worth it all? YES! Last night we saw shooting stars and northern lights! The temperature is heavenly! We have 4 more days to go and I'm sure we'll have sad hearts to leave behind this beauty, peacefulness and the quite days and nights. This will be among the top 5 great vacations for us!

By general consensus, Biscuit Harbour is a relaxing, down to earth getaway from the rat race of everyday life. Everyone enjoyed the amenities provided. The cabin surrounded by nature offered a spectacular view from any window - the cross breeze was delightful with the pine perfume rendered by nature. The best part of the cabin was the sunroom and hot tub! Thank you! The bad part is that it is now time to leave and get back to reality, as we formerly knew it. To all future guests - enjoy and remember the making of happy memories.

Peaceful and relaxing stay even with a four year old along! Thank you! We really enjoyed ourselves - the hot tub, canoe, boat, movies, sunsets, fires on the breakwater, watching the planes. Hope to be back again!

Had a relaxing, quiet time. Saw Matheson Island on the cable ferry. Very cool. Nice little town with friendly people. Very friendly staff at Biscuit. Restaurant was fabulous. Hot tub was soothing. Thanks for the hospitality. No cable is great. Stars were so bright and beautiful. We sat out on the breakwater to look at them. They were amazing. Thanks.

Came all the way from England to marry my lovely Manitoban girl. We needed to relax after a wonderful wedding, this is perfection! Cozy, quite days spent rediscovering why we find each other so special, a new beginning to an old friendship. Fresh caught fish on the barbecue every night, trips to Matheson Island, the sound of the wind through the trees. Biscuit Harbour - The pause button for a busy world!

We had a great week. The cabin was cozy and the scenery spectacular. Ate lots of great food and the people here are very friendly. We had a blast watching the planes take-off and come in- there is always action around here. The hot tub was awesome - especially since we had a cool week. We had so much fun! It's an awesome place for a getaway to connect with each other and take a break from the fast pace of life. We will definitely recommend this place to others!! and hopefully visit again!

Thank you for your vision and courage to create a place here. Our experiences over the last five days have been full - whitefish boat, Moose Island, bald eagles, fishing thru the eyes of a commercial fisherman, ferries, canoes, riverboat, Beavers and Otters, Norway House and always Lake Winnipeg. We came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary with our friends from Vancouver that we went to University with, in New Brunswick. It has been restful, delightful, relaxing, and we needed this. Keep you dream alive and growing. We look forward to many happy returns.
