Atikaki Wilderness Park

We are the heart of Atikaki. Atikaki Provincial Wilderness Park was designated a park in 1981. It is meant to preserve the pristine wilderness, wildlife habitat and the native, cultural significance of the area. We were located here before the area became a park so it also protects our rights to continue operating as we have for the past 40 years. This also ensures that there will never be any further development or other lodges opened within park boundaries. For our long-time guests and long-time guests to be this means Sasaginnigak will remain the way it is for generations to come.
